BRADENTON — On Saturday, the Manatee-Sarasota Sierra Club will host a hike of Myakka State Park.
The hike will take place during the peak of native orchid blooming season, and at the start of the fall migration for shorebirds, teal and warblers.
Extra water and boots made for wet trails should be brought. Location meet-up details will be given when signing up for the hike. Reservations and a donation of $5 are required. Reservations must be made by calling Bill Lewis at 941-355-2156 and speaking with him.
