SARASOTA — Children’s Healthy Pantry – a local non-profit dedicated to feeding underserved children in our community – invites the public to Party for the Pantry, its signature fundraising event, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Michael’s Wine Cellar, 1283 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. Ticket prices are $20 each, and all proceeds go towards the purchase of healthy school snacks for local children in need. “Each person attending will directly make a difference in the daily lives of hungry children,” said Joyce McCoy, Board President of Children’s Healthy Pantry. “For the price of just one entry ticket, we can provide a full day of healthy snacks for an entire school.”
In addition to supporting an outstanding cause, attendees to the event will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres donated by Michael’s On East, live music by Stephen Fancher & Bart Lowther, a silent auction for wonderful prizes, and more. A cash bar will also be available. Guests are encouraged to email
info@eatsmarttobesmart.com or call 941.350.0080 to RSVP. “This event serves as a way to bring the community together to let local children know that we will not let them go hungry while in school,” said Susan Morin, Founder of Children’s Healthy Pantry.
