BRADENTON — Manatee County Habitat for Humanity will celebrate the one year anniversary of its newest Resale store located at 5505 Manatee Avenue today from 9am-5pm. Shoppers will receive discounts up to 50% on purchases, gifts and free food and drinks.

Habitat ReStores offer donated furniture, art work, lighting, house wares, linen, books and clothing, etc. at reduced prices. Proceeds from the stores support the local Manatee Habitat affiliate and help build Habitat homes for qualified families. For more information call 355-7082.

Manatee County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, volunteer-based organization dedicated to building homes in partnership with low-income families who need safe, decent, affordable housing. The Manatee County Habitat for Humanity affiliate was chartered in the summer of 1994 and has built 117 homes with the help of donors, families and volunteers.

Houses are sold to qualified partner families for no profit and financed with affordable, interest-free loans through Manatee Habitat. For more infromation go to www.manateehabitat.org.
