William A. "Bill" Bachman, 94, passed away January 7. 2015.
Bill was born January 21, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to Jacob and C. Myrtle Bachman. He graduated from Denby High School and went to work for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. He enlisted in the Army through the company. He was very proud of his Service during WWII in the North African and European Theater with the Signal Corp.
After his return from the war he married the love of his life, Elizabeth E.(Betty) Rittinger. They were married nearly 58 years. He continued to work for Michigan Bell and retired from service after 42 years in 1979.
Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty (2003) and his son, William D. (Bill) Bachman (2005). He is survived by his daughter, Barbara, son, Jack, and grandchildren, Kyle and Kelsea.

Moshe ''Buddy'' Cohen, 90, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of West Bloomfield, MI, died January 6, 2015.
He was an Army Air Corps Veteran, electronics store owner, investor, avid bowler, golfer, member of the ''Big Boy Coffee Clutch'', and known for his quick wit.
Beloved husband of the late Vera Cohen. Loving father of Denise (Raleigh) Harris, Brian (Fran) Cohen and Jason (Carolyn) Cohen. Loving stepfather of Jan (Miho) Stepka, David (Pamela) Stepka, Terry (Bill) Sampson and Darian (Barbara) Stepka. Adoring grandfather of Carmen, Jessica (Josh), Shayna (Phil), Noah, Alanna, Alissa, Mikki, Anna, Jo, and Miranda. Great grandfather of Ryan, Samantha, Jonah, Brooke, Abby, Rebecca and Lucy. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma she lived in Holmes Beach for most of her life.

Harold J. Schoen, Jr., 68, Palmetto, died January 3, 2015.
Born in Syracuse, NY he moved to Palmetto in 2004 from Pennellville, NY. A Veteran of the US Navy during Vietnam, he was a member of the American Legion Post 309 and VFW Post 9226.
Harold was predeceased by his parents, Harold J., Jr. and Marie (Paulus) and sister, Marie Carpenter.
He is survived by wife of 46 years, Antoinette of Palmetto, FL; sons, Harold J., III (Tina) of Jamesville, NY and Kevin (Monica) of Sumnter, SC; daughters, Tina Ann (William) Dann of Memphis, NY and Christine (Brian) Flynn of Fulton, NY; 10 grandchildren.

Maxwell Erik Grablin, 12, Bradenton, passed away Jan. 3, 2015.
Maxwell was born on Oct. 30, 2002 in Bradenton to Dr. & Mrs. Patrick J. and Karin A. Grablin. He was in 6th grade at the State College of Collegiate School.
Maxwell also attended the Unity Church in the Woods in Bradenton, and had been a Cub Scout with Pack 22 for 5 years at Palma Sola Presbyterian Church. He was currently a Boy Scout with Troop 8 at First United Methodist Church.
Max was an avid collector, builder and enjoyed video games. He loved Pokémon, Minecraft and Legos. He also enjoyed taking golf lessons at the Bradenton Country Club and took guitar lessons at the Florida Enrichment Academy. And he loved his pet hamster, Harryett.
Maxwell was predeceased by his grandparents; John & Patricia Grablin, and Birgit M. Anderson, and is survived by his parents, Dr. & Mrs. Patrick J. & Karin A. Grablin of Bradenton, grandfather, Gordon D. Anderson of Beavercreek, OH, and many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. A celebration of Maxwell's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Palma Sola Presbyterian Church, 6510 3rd Ave. W., Bradenton. Interment will be private.

Dr. Anthony Tiberini (Tony), 78, died on Saturday, January 3, surrounded by his loving family.
Tony was a proud son of Philadelphia, born there to Tibby and Gina Tiberini in 1936. At age 21, Tony earned a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Villanova University. Tony went on to earn a Master’s degree in Career Education from the University of Delaware, and a Doctorate in Vocational Education from Temple University.
Tony was a lifelong educator. He taught business classes at Delaware Technical Community College, was an advisor for DECA, and received the Distributive Teacher of the Year award for the State of Delaware.
Tony married the love of his life, Ruth Tiberini, on October 18, 1968. Along with their two children, Louis and Peter, they lived in Swarthmore, PA for 18 years. In 1995, Tony and Ruth moved to Bradenton, FL where he worked as a successful real estate broker, owner and trainer.
Tony was a great supporter of the arts and served as Past President of the Arts Council of Manatee County. He was also a philanthropist and supported many charitable causes.
Tony is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, Louis (Michelle), Peter (Kelly), and Esther (Jim); his grandchild, Leah; his sister, Elaine, and many other family and friends.

Adele Dorobkowski, 84, Bradenton, died January 3, 2015.
Born Adele E. Lily Daisey on April 10, 1940 in Brooklawn, NJ she moved to Bradenton in 1976 from Long Island, NY and worked for Superior Home in Sarasota, FL.
She enjoyed line dancing, swimming, Bingo, going to the beach, watching wrestling, spending time with her family and friends, crossword puzzles and going to craft fairs. She also enjoyed traveling and took cruises to Hawaii and Alaska.
Preceded in death by her parents, Earl H. & Johanna K. (Ricklefs) Daisey; husband, Bernard Dorobkowski; son, Bernard James Dorobkowski; brother, Earl Daisey (Evelyn); survived by son, Barry (Denise) Dorobkowski; daughter, Kathleen (Jay) Kennebrook; grandchildren, Kirsten Newman and Jeremy (Amber) Kennebrook; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Doris Smith Gippert, age 88, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her children on Friday, January 2, 2015.
Born November 16, 1926 in Sayre, PA, Doris was a woman ahead of her time in using the internet to communicate with her family and friends. She was very talented with photo shop and loved to pass her interests on to others.
She was a ''Jill Of All Trades'', creative in carpentry, jewelry making and sewing, as evidenced by many of her ''glamor bibs'' worn in many finer dining rooms in Bradenton. She worked in retail in Rochester, NY until her move to Bradenton in 1979. She was then a medical office receptionist until her marriage to LeRoy Gippert in 1985.
Doris is survived by her children, Linda Tommasino of Key Biscayne, FL, Gail and her husband, Mitch of Littlestown, PA, Stephen Smith and Randall Smith of Bradenton, FL; sisters, Donna Orshaw of Gowanda, NY and Carol Merrill of Waverly, NY, grandchildren, Alex Tommasino, Jackie Tommasino, Scott Tommasino, Morgan Culver, Erin Baumgardner and great-grandson, Antonio Tommasino.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Philip Smith of Rochester, NY; brothers, Raymond Shaffer of Clifton Springs, NY and Glen Shaffer of Elmira, NY and parents, Fred and Ruth Shaffer of Sayre, PA.

Robert J. Crawford (Bob) departed this world on January 1, 2015. The Kentucky native was 86 years of age.
Bob was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and Navy. A beloved coach and administrator at Manatee County High, Bob firmly believed that public service is the highest calling. As a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, he exemplified the qualities of unwavering devotion to faith, family, fellow man, and country. Proud, yet humble.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jean Crawford; his two daughters, Karen Rogers and Jan Kemmer; and his three grandchildren, Jessica Kemmer, Sam Kemmer, and Robert Kemmer.
