PALMETTO – On Wednesday, April 27, Command Sargeant Major Gary Litrell will be featured as a guest speaker at a JROTC Awards Ceremony for Palmetto High School. The event will also recognize outstanding Cadets in the JROTC's Tiger Battalion.
Mr. Litrell, a Vietnam War veteran recognized for heroism during a four-day siege in that war, earned the Congressional Medal of Honor from President Richard Nixon.
