Countywide Candidates Hit Local Radio Waves

BRADENTON — Local political radio show The Morning Edge with Henry Raines and Augi Schmitz on 1490 WWPR AM has been hosting local political candidates in recent weeks leading up to the Nov. 4 election. The interviews are available at the show's podcast site.

The Morning Edge, which airs live both online and over the airwaves each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-10 a.m., featured all four candidates in the local countywide races, including Julie Aranibar (10/31), Mary Cantrell (10/29), Terri Wonder (10/27 & 10/10) and Carol Whitmore (10/24, and scheduled for a second appearance this Monday Nov. 3).

On October 22, TBT Editor and Featured Columnist Dennis Maley, a frequent Morning Edge guest, joined Henry and Augie to talk about local election issues.
