Emily Roff at the Bradenton Market

Posted

Solo singer-songwriter, Emily Roff, shares her original songs with the audience, while also intertwining unique cover versions from classic and current artists alike. Some of Emily's musical inspirations are Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown, Jason Mraz, Sheryl Crow, Jack Johnson, Colbie Caillat, Amy Winehouse, and more. She is also highly influenced by '70's and 2000's Songwriter Era, as well as the 40's Jazz Era, so you are sure to see several of these songs incorporated into her performance.

Emily's original music can be characterized as Indie Beach Pop, with Jazzy-Bluesy undertones, and a little quirkiness sprinkled overtop. She also writes and plays slower Ballads that often show up in the form of thoughtful, melodic vocals with lightly picked guitar, or piano, behind. Her performance leaves you feeling fulfilled through her eclectic song choices, agile vocals, and multi-instrumentation (piano/guitar/ukulele).

No cover.
