Eugene Stephen "Gene" Mulvey, 77, of Bradenton, FL passed away on April 14, 2023.
He was born in New York and moved to Bradenton, FL in 1976.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Mulvey Fitzgerald and his wife, Linda Mulvey. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Heron and her husband Nick, and four grandchildren: Evan Fitzgerald, Danial Fitzgerald, Matthew D'Ambrosio, and Dominick D'Ambrosio.
He began an animal rescue in 2015 that took in cats and dogs with medical conditions and behavioral problems that prevented them from being adopted. He loved each one of them and provided them with their last forever home.
