BRADENTON -- A recent Quinnipiac University poll shows that 48 percent of respondents disapproved of the way Scott is handling the job of governor with 35 percent approving.
52 percent disapprove of Scott’s performance, while 32 percent approve. Even among Republicans, only 57 percent approve.
The poll seems to idicate how polarized certain citizens of the sate have become. While a majority of Floridians believe the budget cuts go too deep, there remains a sizeable chunk who believe they do not go far enough.
The most revealing poll figure was in the question: ”If you could do last fall’s election for Governor over again, would you vote for Democrat Alex Sink or Republican Rick Scott?“ Sink won by a landslidfe, 56 to 37 percent.
