PALMETTO - Manatee County’s Melton Little celebrated huge developments in recent days. The Trump Republican raised more than $100,000 in his campaign for the Florida House.
Little, a native Manatee Countian, raised just over $90,000 in his campaign account and added another $10,500 in his Make Manatee Great Again political committee during the third quarter of this year. Having raised nearly four times more than his opponents combined, he can legitimately claim frontrunner status in his race.
The seat Little is seeking is currently held by State Rep. Will Robinson, who is term-limited.
Little said, “I am truly humbled by the tremendous show of support from our community. I asked them for help and they responded. It’s clear that the voters want someone to represent them in Tallahassee who is a qualified, experienced and a committed constitutional conservative who will always keep the citizens of Manatee at the forefront of every discussion."
Melton Little has lived the Manatee County Dream. He grew up in Bayshore Gardens, attended Bayshore High School, and has practiced law in Palmetto for more than three decades. The firm he launched and built almost four decades ago, has helped thousands of his Manatee neighbors and friends in some of their worst situations.
A devoted father and husband, Melton has also dedicated time and support to youth sports, scholarship, and education in Manatee. He has received numerous awards including the highest honor from the Manatee County Boys & Girls Club and Manatee County Bar Association.
