MANATEE- Perfection is within reach, but not quite yet. The Bradenton Gladiators need to win its final two regular season games to go 10-0 this year in the Florida Football Alliance. Tonight the Gladiators play the 1-7 Florida Crusaders in Kissimmee, a team they shutout 37-0 on February 19 at the PAL Bowl.

A win this evening will set up a potential undefeated match-up with the Magic City Bulls next Saturday at the PAL Bowl. The Bulls are facing the 1-7 Sarasota Millionaires tonight in Miami.
The Gladiators are scoring an average of nearly 31 points per game and allowing a miserly 5.5 points per contest with one of the stingiest defenses in the league. Quarterback Nick Kirby has thrown 14 touchdowns and over 1200 total passing yards in 2011. Chauncey Jones is the team’s leading rusher averaging just over seven yards per carry with 10 touchdowns.
The Gladiators long ago clinched the AFC West division title and a first round bye in the FFA playoffs which begin April 9.
