Happy Thanksgiving from The Bradenton Times

Posted
BRADENTON -- It's easy to get caught up in the holiday hustle and bustle and forget that this day is about giving thanks for all of the things we are blessed with in our lives. We'd like to take this moment to telly you about something we're thankful for – you!

Now in our second year, The Bradenton Times has grown from a small, fringe publication to a true local daily with over 60,000 different visitors monthly, providing Manatee County with a viable electronic news publication, intensely focused on the local area. We have celebrated the unique members of our community and reflected on the ups and downs that the area has faced.

These have been challenging times for many residents, small business owners and average families just trying to get by. We have worked hard to keep our readers connected to their community, informed of the things that will define their quality of life, while providing a platform for intelligent and respectful debate.

You the reader, have responded by continuing to visit our site, by telling your friends about us and by helping us continue to grow. We've added new dimensions like video and podcasts and our content volume and quality has increased dramatically. For all of this to happen, we've always needed you. We are a free service, but with each new click our ability to continue our growth and enhancement only improves.

We're not out of the woods yet, but we want to take this time to thank you for continuing to visit our site, for trusting us to shoot you straight and tell it like it is. If you feel the same way about us as we do about you, consider passing us on to more of your friends. Forward them this link to subscribe to the free Weekly Recap and if you have a local business, consider one of our very reasonable banner ads.

As new media continues to evolve, the way in which people get their news will continue to change and we will be on the cutting edge of those technologies. But you can always count on The Bradenton Times to sift through the noise of the echo chamber and continue to organize and analyze the stories that affect you most – while continuing to live up to our motto: fact based news and analysis, without an agenda.

Happy Thanksgiving from the staff here at The Bradenton Times!
