Invitation to Bid on Landscape Projects in City of Bradenton

The Purchasing Department of the City of Bradenton will receive sealed bids until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, for RFQ # 16-01RW Landscape Maintenance for Various City Locations.

The work is generally described as furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and supervision needed to maintain the landscaping at various City Facilities and Park locations. The work includes, but is not limited to, mowing, edging, weeding, fertilizing, bush trimming, tree pruning, use of herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, furnishing and installing plants, (grass, shrubs and trees) shrub, tree and stump removal as described in the Bid Package.

At 2 p.m. Nov. 22 all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Public Works Annex Building, 1411 9th St. W.

All bids must be submitted in triplicate to Mr. Ralph G. Ward, Purchasing Manager, 1411 9th St. W. They may also be delivered to Mr. Ward’s office at 1300 6th Street West.

All bid submissions must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, ”SEALED BID # RFQ# 16-01RW Landscape Maintenance“

The Bid Package may be picked up at no charge from the Purchasing Office, 1300 6th St. W., beginning Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, between the hours of 10-3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The City of Bradenton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive all formalities.
