It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Lynn Simpson Ambrosino, a loving mother, wife, and friend, who left us on February 17, 2025. Joan was born on April 14, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, and lived most of her life in Bradenton, Florida. She was the middle child of five siblings and always held a special place in the hearts of her family.

Joan was a devoted mother to two sons. She valued the simple pleasures in life and cherished the time spent with her husband and best friend, Pat Ambrosino. Joan's greatest joy was her family. She was incredibly proud of her two grandchildren, Courtney and Finley Brown. Joan was a shining light to all who knew her, and she had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for travel. She especially enjoyed trips to Hawaii and Italy, where she made lifelong memories. Whether on an adventure or at home, Joan's kindness radiated through her every action.

She was always quick to lend a hand to those in need, whether by helping feed the hungry or offering support to those affected by hurricanes. Her heart was as expansive as her love for life. For over 20 years, Joan worked at Tropicana, where she formed lasting friendships and left a positive impact on all who worked with her.

A dedicated wife, Joan shared a lifelong partnership with her best friend and companion, Pat Ambrosino, to whom she was married for over 30 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Joan's legacy is one of kindness, compassion, and generosity. She was a lover of life and lived each day with a smile, spreading joy and positivity wherever she went. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Joan is survived by her loving husband, Pat Ambrosino, her two sons, James T. Brown and Jeffrey L. Brown, her siblings, and many other extended family members and friends. A private ceremony to spread her ashes will be conducted with her spouse and sons.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital in Joan's honor. Joan will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to shine in the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. No services are scheduled at this time.
