BRADENTON – A realty company is putting down some roots in the city – and making a big bet that there's a new day coming in commercial real estate.
In a press release on Friday, Keller Williams on the Water said it has opened a new commercial real estate division in downtown Bradenton.
"We have a strong belief in the economic recovery of the Manatee/Sarasota area and see this expansion as part of efforts to offer greater services to our clients," said Joanne Owens, the operating principal/broker for Keller Williams on the Water.
The office, at 101 Riverfront Blvd., will be led by senior commercial managing director/broker Debra Cooper and Broker Associate Angela Varga.
"We look forward to building a division that dominates the market and exemplifies the culture and education our company is known for," Owens said. "We have already begun with ancillary service providers who provide best in class service."
Due to the current market conditions the office will be servicing the growing demand for distressed commercial asset services such as accelerated marketing and dispositions along with traditional and fee-based services for lenders and the courts.
"While this market continues to challenge industry veterans alike, the platform offered by KW Commercial is simply outstanding," Cooper said. "We are excited about our ability to provide a wide range of services to distressed commercial asset holders."
