Kettle of Fish to Perform at Van Wezel Friday Fest

SARASOTA  Local band, Kettle of Fish, will perform this Friday from 5-9 pm, on the lawn of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for Friday Fest.

Friday Fest is Van Wezel s annual outdoor summer concert series featuring free family-friendly live performances from local and regional bands.

Over nearly two decades, Kettle of Fish has grown its fanbase, both locally and across Florida s southwest coast. Fronted by lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter Dana Lawrence, the band plays festival music that features blues, soul, and funk with the energy of rock  n roll. They make old songs new again, and their originals sound like classics. Kettle of Fish is one of the hottest live acts in southwest Florida, headlining to thousands, and opening for such acts as Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, Elvin Bishop, Dickey Betts, and many more.


Friday Fest guests are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs to take in the music and the sunset. Food and beverage from local vendors will also be available please no outside food, drinks, or coolers.
