Law Enforcement BPD Officer of the Month

BRADENTON — Detective Greg Price has been honored as Bradenton Police Department Officer of the Month for January for his efforts that led to the arrest of six suspects involved in recent robberies of pizza carriers.

Two pizza delivery employees were robbed on two separate occasions in early December. Both had been jumped by a group of suspects as they attempted to make a delivery at Citrus Meadows Apartments.

Both pizza delivery drivers suffered very minor injuries.

The robberies were both assigned to Detective Price. Over the course of the 10-day investigation he developed information which allowed him to determine that there were six suspects involved in both robberies.

He determined the identity of all six suspects, three of which were juveniles, located them, and they were taken into custody.

Detective Price has been detective for eleven years and is cur­rently assigned to F.B.I. Violent Crimes Task Force.
