Letter to the Editor: In support of Rick Scott

Floridians can shape the future Nov 2.

With today’s current issues with the economy, national health care reforms and the excess spending by the White House, the future looks dismal for our children. On November 2nd, we have a choice to turn things around. The opportunity to elect a governor with a proven track record of success or just another insider that has had four years to clean up the fiscal challenges in Florida as CFO.

Regretfully, too many are still haunted with the negative ads from the primary election. These ads continue to echo from the Sink campaign. The reason why these ads are effective in shifting public opinion is because people do not research the facts on a candidate and let the media tell them how to vote. I spent the time to research Rick Scott and have also met him many times. The fact is, Rick Scott is the leader Florida needs now.

Rick has a proven ability to be successful and turn companies around. His approach in business has been proven in the hospital chain he founded. This chain consisted of poorly managed and low quality hospitals. Rick turned them around into high rated health care facilities for both quality and patient satisfaction. This is proven!

What has Sink done for the insurance industry, financial state of Florida and the status of state pensions funds? She has lost billions under her term as CFO. Then to add more question to her ability to lead the state, her questionable business practices at several of her former companies. Then her support for a national health care program and the wasted spending by the White House should tell you that Sink will sink Florida.

Take the time to research Rick before you make a decision based on wrong information. My family supports rick Scott for Governor of Florida.
