Sarasota, Florida - Linda May Morand, age 82, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 4th, 2025, in Sarasota, Florida. Born on May 1st, 1942, in Elgin, IL she was one of 3 children, and the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Brown. She shared 58 years of marriage with her late husband, Richard.
Together, they built a life in Streamwood, IL where they raised their 2 sons, Tony and Gary. Linda was primarily a homemaker, and her passions included ceramics and stained glass. In the early 80's Linda and Richard relocated to Bradenton, Florida, and lived in The Gardens retirement community of Parrish, FL for many years. Linda is survived by her 2 sons Anthony (Cheryl) and Gary (Kristie) and 3 grandchildren: Eric, Jenny and Brian (Mary Katie) and 1 great grandchild Luke.
There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, January 17th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church 12001 69th St. E, Parrish, FL 34219 and burial thereafter in their Memorial Gardens. Rest in peace, Linda.
