Frank Archino, a former Public Affairs Officer for the U.S. Navy Command, is contending for Manatee County Commission, District 5. He acknowledges the excessive amount of jobs that dissipated during the economy’s initial collapse and how the rehired are ”getting up to 50 percent less wages than prior.“

”Too many families lost their homes,“ Archino said. ”I want to help prevent some of this from happening again.“

Archino served actively in the Navy for 21 years and held positions of leadership, including Assistant Officer in Charge of a command, Total Quality Leadership Department Head and Chairman of the Executive Steering Committee.
