Local Government Tax Collector

BRADENTON — Beginning Monday, February 2, appointments can be scheduled online at www.taxcollector.com for driver license, ID card, and title transactions at the Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office. Customers are encouraged to make an appointment in order to be seen as quickly as possible when they arrive at an office.
 
Appointments are required for the following Driver License and ID Card transactions:

·  Class E Driving Skills Road Test (Manatee County residents only)

·  Written Exams (Manatee County residents only)

·  Non-US Citizens (Includes all immigrants, permanent residents, “green card” holders, non-immigrants, and temporary residents)

·  Naturalized US Citizens

·  US Citizens Born Abroad

·  Medical-Related Testing, Re-Exams and Issues/Questions (Manatee County residents only)

·  First-Time (in lifetime) Issuance

·  Out-of-State Transfer to Florida (lost or stolen)
 
When scheduling an appointment online patrons will receive an email confirming their appointment, a reminder email one day before their appointment, and have the option of receiving a text message reminder on the day of your appointment.
 
Automated phone call reminders for Class E Driving Skills Road Test appointments will be discontinued.
