MANATEE COUNTY — On Tuesday, the BOCC will have a meeting with votes on approval to rezone 272-plus acres at the northwest intersection of State Road 62 and County Road 39 for phosphate mining, and for approval of a resolution amending and restating the Master Mining Plan for the Four Corners Mine adjacent to the 272-plus acre property, both at Mosaic's request.
Also Tuesday, the school board will hold an executive session and workshop (with an operations budget overview) then meeting (which will include a vote on approval to reimburse attorney fees incurred by Board Chair Bob Gause in connection with allegations of bid tampering).
The Bradenton City Council will convene a meeting Wednesday (with presentation of a real estate purchase agreement that the city would use to sell 3.3 acres of land to WOB Beneficial Development 16, LLC at $700,000). The Manatee Planning Commission will meet Thursday.
