Local Government This Week in Local Government: May 11-15, 2015

MANATEE COUNTY — The Manatee County Commission's work session Tuesday morning will address work force issues. Later that day, the Manatee School Board will hold a workshop (with discussion regarding the board's transition following Superintendent Mills' retirement), followed by a meeting (when it will vote on approval of providing attorneys for school board officers and employees named in Gagnon v. SBMC). The Bradenton City Council will meet Wednesday, and the Planning Commission will meet Thursday.
