CITIZEN COMMENTS (Consideration for Future Agenda)

COMMISSIONER COMMENTS –

– Benac said there have been complaints about the cutting down of trees and not replacing them. She said the Land Development Code requires that trees are replaced when cut down and that she would check into it.

– DiSabatino said the Tampa Bay Estuary program is doing a great job and that Manatee County is getting a return on what they have paid worth many times the value invested. DiSabatino said much thanks goes to the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Sarasota Bay Estuary program.

– Whitmore said that there is a Land Development Code 101, explaining how it works, on February. 29, (6 p.m.).
