Always one of the most moving events of the year, the Migrant Education Awards Ceremony honors the students and families who have participated in the district’s English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and migrant academic programs.
Special speakers include Superintendent Tim McGonegal, school board member Walter Miller, and seniors Liliana Ibarra of Lakewood Ranch High and Pedro Limas of Palmetto High.
