Manatee School Board Agenda Results: June 28, 2016

BRADENTON – At Tuesday’s meeting, the Manatee School Board voted to approve several proposals that include revisions to the Audit Committee’s charter; a new one-year contract with Internal Auditor Shinn & Co.; a contract with Willis A. Smith Construction to demolition the 34th Street campus, a request to donate 20 school buses to Manatee School of the Arts; reclassifying the position of Payroll Coordinator within the H.R. department and giving the position added responsibilities; approval of a new position, Manatee Technical College Finance Manager; and changing the title of Staff Attorney Mitch Teitelbaum to General Counsel.
