Marauders to Host Back to School Night August 13

BRADENTON – The Bradenton Marauders will host Back to School Night sponsored by Bright House Networks at McKechnie Field on Saturday, August 13th. The playoff-bound Marauders play the St. Lucie Mets at 6:30 p.m. The gates open at 5:30 p.m.

The first 500 kids age 12 and under in attendance will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. The Marauders will be collecting school supply donations at the guest relations booth at every home game prior to Back to School Night. The supplies will be stuffed inside the backpacks for the giveaway prior to that game.

School district employees and their immediate family members can purchase tickets for one dollar when they present their school district ID at the McKechnie Field box office only.

August 13th is also Star Wars Night at McKechnie Field. The Marauders will wear Star Wars themed jerseys, and those jerseys will be auctioned off during the game, with proceeds benefitting the South Florida Museum’s Manatee Care Program. There will be Star Wars character appearances by the 501st Legion. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a free Snooty bobblehead.

The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-gamedays Tuesday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On Monday-Friday gamedays the ticket office is open from noon until the conclusion of the game. The ticket office opens two hours before Saturday, Sunday, and morning games.
