BRADENTON – You can help the less fortunate get the food they need this winter during the Mayors' Feed The Hungry Program and through the Food Bank of Manatee.
All money collected in the Manatee-Sarasota region stays here and is distributed to charitable agencies as gift cards that can be redeemed at Publix for food only. This annual charity drive has helped more than 337,000 hungry people in Manatee and Sarasota counties afford food. More than 15,000 gift cards were distributed to the poor last year thanks to generous donations.
Donors can make checks payable to Mayors’ Feed The Hungry Program, P.O. Box 1992, Sarasota, FL 34230-1992.
