Monica June Burgess, age 81, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on June 18, 2022.

Our hearts are deeply hurt and saddened to announce that our beautiful, loving, caring Monica June Burgess passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. There are no words to convey the sadness we feel and no words may be given that could bring comfort to our hearts at this time. Monica was born to Harold and Daisy Birt on June 3,1940 in England. Monica attended school and lived in England before becoming a military wife and coming to the United States. Monica and Bob worked together at Specialized Marketing for 30 years. Monica was the Director of Marketing during her professional career. Monica traveled through and lived in many states over the years before her and Bob retired and settled in Bradenton, Florida. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and much more. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, reading, sewing, gardening, painting, cooking, coloring, crafting, and spending time in nature.

Monica’s sweet and outgoing spirit lit up a room and her smile will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. She was compassionate and caring and would do anything to help anyone that needed it.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Daisy Birt, Sister, Janet Boast, Son-in-Law; Ray Nohmer, Daughter-in-Law, Diana Rutland and Granddaughters Desiree Robinson and Kim Oran.
Monica June Burgess is survived by her Husband of 45 years, Robert "Bob" Burgess; Daughters, Vicky Lake (Tim); Debra Boothe; and Tina Nohmer; Sons, Steven Rutland; Jonathan Rutland; Bob Burgess (Lisa ) Sean Burgess (Beth); Sisters, Amanda Winter; Penelope Hedderman; Brothers, Frances Birt (Avril), David Birt (Maureen), 19 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; and family members and friends.

Memorial Service will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West Bradenton, Florida 34209.
