Movers and Shakers: CS&L CPAs Expands Staff in Bradenton

BRADENTON – CS&L CPAs, a certified public accounting firm located in Bradenton and Sarasota, has recently added the following professionals to its team:

Jeff Gerhard, from Bradenton, FL,joined the CS&L team as Audit Manager. Gerhard has over 16 years experience in public accounting and is a member of the Finance Committee for the Humane Society of Manatee County. He is originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakland University in 1997.Gerhard is a Certified Fraud Examiner as issued by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Sean McCarty, originally from Valrico, FL, graduated from the University of South Florida in May, 2013, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. McCarty has been hired as a Staff Auditor and is currently completing his Masters Degree in Audit/Systems from USF. He is due to graduate in December, 2014, and is a former recipient of the CPA Becker Review Scholarship.

Christopher Norton, a resident of Ruskin, FL, joined the firm as a Staff Accountant. Norton graduated from the University of South Florida in May, 2014, where he was a member of the USF Baseball Team. Norton is currently completing his 5^th year program and plans to sit for the CPA exam next year.

Rebecca Hadesman has joined the staff as Assistant Accountant to the Administrative Principal. Hadesman is currently in the process of obtaining her CPA license and received her Bachelor's Degree from Iowa State and her Master's Degree in Marketing/Finance from the University of Illinois.
