AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAMPA BAY RUSKIN FL 11:46 AM EST MON MAY 17 2016

UPDATE...
The numerous morning rain chances did not develop as anticipated, with the areas of rain over the gulf mostly dissipating as they approached the coast. Temperatures are heating up quickly despite the cloud coverage, so there is still confidence in the high thunderstorm chances after 19z. The point and click and zone forecasts have been updated to scale back PoPs and weather before 19z.
