Debra Lynn "Debbi" Johnson went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 21, 2018 after a battle with ALS.
She was 68.
Debbi was born in Detroit, Michigan and after graduating from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, Debbi moved to Florida. As a single mom, she worked hard to support her daughter.
Debbi was a committed believer in Jesus Christ and was an active worshipper with Bethel Baptist and Northwest Baptist congregations.
Debbi leaves behind her husband, Richard Johnson; her daughter, Stephanie (Jon) Hiatt; her sister, Laurie (Edward) Bartel and her three incredible grandsons, Tyler, Caleb and Lucas Hiatt.
Memorial Services will be held at 12Noon on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Northwest Baptist Church, 7913 9th Avenue Northwest, Bradenton, FL 34209, with refreshments to follow.
Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
