Patrick Joseph McKell, II, 89, Bradenton, died May 31, 2016.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he moved to Bradenton in 1995 from South Orange, NJ. A Veteran in the Royal Navy during World War II, he worked for Skandia Re-Insurance of New York City, attended Ss Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church and was a member of the Glasgow Celtic Football Club.
Predeceased by parents, Patrick Joseph and Mary (McPartlin) McKell; survived by wife of 50 years, Anne of Bradenton, FL; sons, Christopher (Larissa) of Allentown, NJ, Patrick, III of Roselle Park, NJ, Michael (Jennifer) of Long Valley, NJ and Sean (Stacey) of Green Acres, FL; daughters, Shalayne (Thomas) Floyd of Spring Hill, FL, Patricia (Donald) Fuchs of Bradenton, FL and Jennifer McKell of Bradenton, FL; brothers, David of Glasgow, Scotland, George of Scotland and James of Alton, England; sister, Mary Kennedy of W. Covina, CA; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation 5-7 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel.
Mass 9:30 AM, Saturday June 4, 2016 at Ss Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church.
