Obituary: William Howard Stoliker

William Howard Stoliker, Sr., 76 of Myakka City, FL, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008 at his residence in Myakka City.
 
Mr. Stoliker was born on May 30, 1931 in Green Island, New York to the late David & Alberta Stoliker. He served his country faithfully during the Korean Conflict by serving with the U.S. Army.
 
Mr. Stoliker moved to Manatee County in 1971 coming from Troy, New York. He was a member of the Myakka City United Methodist Church in Myakka City, Fl., and was a retired Transmission Specialist working in the automotive industry.
 
Predeceased by a son Jeffrey Stanley Soliker. Survived by his loving wife, Carolyn "Sye“ Stoliker of Myakka City, Fl., two daughters; Cherie Woodruff and Laurie Bartman both of Lakeland, Fl., two sons, William H. Stoliker, Jr. of Lakeland, Fl., Perdy Douglas Stoliker of Sarasota, Fl., four step-sons; Mike, David, Luke, Vernon Brende, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
 
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Myakka City United Methodist Church, 10525 Lebanon Street, Myakka City, Florida.
 
Memorials may be made to the William H. Stoliker Memorial Fund, c/o Myakka City United Methodist Church in his memory.
