Officer Zachary Mikluscak Chosen as BPD Officer of the Month for December

BRADENTON – Officer Mikluscak is currently assigned to Zone Five in District Two. Since January of 2015, Officer Mikluscak has consistently distinguished himself from fellow Zone Five officers by leading them in self initiated activity to include 116 arrests and the issuance of over 100 traffic citations.

Following a recent homicide in the area of the 700 block of 12th Avenue West, Officer Mikluscak, along with several other officers, volunteered to work during their off-duty time in order to help reduce the crime in the area. During that period, Officer Mikluscak’s pro-active patrolling techniques led to the arrest of multiple subjects for various criminal violations. Most importantly, his actions prevented further violence in our community from occurring.

Officer Mikluscak has been an officer with the Bradenton Police Department for three years. His actions speak highly of his dedication to the citizens of the City of Bradenton, so it is with honor that Chief of Police Michael Radzilowski, named Officer Zachary Mikluscak the Bradenton Police Department’s ”Officer of the Month for December 2015.“
