Palmetto Police Receive Donation from Local Businesses

PALMETTO — Thanks to the generosity of three Palmetto businesses, a combined total of$ 9,000 has been donated to the Palmetto Police Department.

Harbour Productions, Classic Piano Shoppe and T2theS, in a combined statement, said the donation was made to benefit the police department and is a thank you to local law enforcement for all they do to keep the community safe.

The businesses also thanked Mayor Shirley Groover Bryant's entire administration for its support of the business community. The city says that the donated funds will be used to purchase safety equipment for the department.
