PALMETTO – On Saturday, June 4, Palmetto Historical Park and Manatee County Agricultural Museum will offer visitors a chance to find out what it was like to live in an era with lots of bull lassoing but without washing machines and grocery stores containing refrigerated butter and produce.
The day will also have exhibits on local historical figure Powel Crosley, Jr. and a chance to participate in "History Mystery" for a family prize.
The event will go from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The museum is located at 515 10th Avenue West. For more information, call 941-721-2034 or email agriculturalmuseum@manateeclerk.com.
