Posted

MANATEE--Mitzi Gaynor is what you’d call a ”triple threat“ performer.  She can sing, dance and act. Add in comedienne and you have a grand slam of talent who is still going strong after more than fifty years in show business. She’s worked with all the giants from Frank, Dino and Bing to the Beatles. In the attached interview, Mitzi talks about working on the Ed Sullivan Show with the Beatles in Miami back in 1964.

Mitzi Gaynor will be performing her latest show, ”Razzle Dazzle! My Life Behind the Sequins“ at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater Sunday March 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.

Mitzi won an Emmy for her PBS special "Mitzi Gaynor Razzle Dazzle! the Special Years" in 2010, her 18th Emmy nomination and 7th Emmy Award for a Mitzi Gaynor special.

She will be returning to Las Vegas where she has headlined since 1962 and back to Florida for more performances later this fall.
