Port Authority Marketing Staff Receives Best Website And Directory Award

MANATEE -- The Port Authority has received awards for the best website and port directory from the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA). Port CFO Bob Armstrong presented Steve Tyndal and his marketing/communications staff with the citations at Thursday’s regular meeting in Palmetto.

Port Authority Wins AAPA Awards of Merit

AAPA's annual and biannual awards programs recognizes the best practices in the port industry across five disciplines: Communications, Environmental Improvement, Information Technology, Facilities Engineering, and Cruise.

Port Manatee won awards of merit for its entries in the directories and corporate website categories. Each of the Port Authority commissioners congratulated and commended the marketing and communications team for doing an outstanding job of promoting the port.
