BRADENTON — The Marauders (24-15, 56-53) dropped to three games out of first place after an 8-3 loss to the Jupiter Hammerheads (16-25, 51-60) on Thursday night at McKechnie Field. LF Junior Sosa, RF Harold Ramirez, and 2B Trace Tam Sing all recorded two hits for Bradenton in the loss.

The game began at 6:33 p.m. under partly cloudy skies, 88 degrees, and wind blowing 12 mph out to center field. Jupiter went 6-3 at McKechnie Field this year but is 0-6 against the Marauders at home.

Tonight, the Marauders open a three-game commuter series against the Stone Crabs at Charlotte Sports Park. RHP Luis Heredia will be on the mound for the Marauders while Charlotte has RHP Buddy Borden slated to throw. Live streaming audio will be available on BradentonMarauders.com and on the TuneIn App.
