BRADENTON — The Marauders (11-11) blasted the St. Lucie Mets (11-11) 12-1 at McKechnie Field on Friday night. CF Austin Meadows and LF Justin Maffei combined to score seven runs in the game. Meadows went 3-for-6 at the plate.

RHP Felipe Gonzalez W (1-2) pitched six sharp innings, retiring the final 13 batters he faced in order.

2B Erich Weiss drove in four runs in the game as the Marauders went 9-for-21 with runners in scoring

position. Bradenton plated nine unanswered runs in the rout of the Mets.

The game began at 6:33 p.m. under sunny skies, 80 degrees, wind blowing 17 mph from left to

right. Jin-De Jhang doubled in his fourth at-bat to extend his hitting streak to 13 games. 12 runs is the

most scored by the Marauders in a game this season. The Marauders have snapped three separate

losing streaks after three games this season.

Today the Marauders travel to Port St. Lucie to face the Mets again at 6:30 p.m. The Marauders will
