ports Marauders Kick Off Five-Game Homestand With Public Safety Day, End With Thirsty Thursday

BRADENTON — The Bradenton Marauders return home for five days to host the Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins) on Sunday, June 14, before hosting the Tampa Yankees (New York Yankees) in a four-game series that begins on Monday, June 15 and ends on Thursday, June 18. The final game’s conclusion will mark the beginning of the Florida State League’s All-Star Break, which will take place on Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20. Sunday’s game will take place at 1:00 p.m., with gates opening at 12:00 p.m. The remaining games will begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

June 14 is Public Safety Day at McKechnie Field. Local public safety organizations will be in attendance to promote the importance of safety, including Bradenton’s Police and Fire Departments, Neighborhood Watch, and many others. The first 200 kids will receive a free bike helmet, sponsored by AMSCOT. The Bradenton Police Department will also play the Bradenton Fire Department in a friendly postgame softball match.

Every Sunday home game is a Family Fun Sunday, sponsored by Kayem. Fans enjoy $1 parking, $1 tickets, and $1 hotdogs. Young fans will be able to enjoy an inflatable waterslide, and check out the on-site SWAT van and fire truck. Fans 12 and under can run the bases after the game in the Kids Fun Run, presented by Mosaic.

June 15 is J.D. Byrider FREE ticket night! Vouchers for free Outfield and Grandstand tickets are available at J.D. Byrider, located at 3907 14th St W, Bradenton, as well as at several other community locations including McKechnie Field’s box office. The voucher can also be printed online from www.BradentonMarauders.com. Fans can upgrade their free seat to an Infield Box or Reserve seat for $2 while supplies last. Fans in attendance will also be given the exclusive chance to WIN a used car provided by J.D. Byrider.

June 16 is a 2-for-1 ticket Tuesday sponsored by Chick-Fil-A. Fans can stop by Chick-Fil-A at DeSoto Square Mall for a 2-for-1 ticket voucher. Fans can also participate in Baseball Bingo, presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs and PLS Print, during the game to win prizes.

Every Marauders Tuesday home game is a First Mates Kids Club night. June 16 will feature a private meet and greet with select players for Kids Club members. Fans can still enter the Kids Club for only $15, which gets them tickets to every Tuesday home game, team store discounts, a goodie bag from club sponsors, and entry into special events that happen during every Tuesday game.

June 17 is a Marauders Fan Appreciation Day Wednesday game. Marauders fans can enjoy 50 percent off online orders with Papa John’s using promotional code MARAUDERS50 all day. The week’s series will be the last time the Marauders host the Yankees during the 2015 season.

June 18 is a THIRSTY THURSDAY. All fans enjoy soda and select draft beers for only $1 throughout the evening. Interested fans can also join the Thirsty Thursday Club presented by Budweiser and Ticket Sarasota, your TICKET to Thirsty Thursdays!

The Thirsty Thursday club costs only $60 and includes tickets to all remaining Thursday home games, a club t-shirt, concessions discounts, and a free 12oz drink at each Thursday game. Members also receive prizes and an entry into a grand prize draw for every Thursday game they attend.

The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-gamedays Tuesday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On Monday-Friday gamedays the ticket office is open from 11:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the game. The ticket office opens two hours before SaturdaySunday, and morning games.
