BRADENTON — The Bradenton Marauders return home on Tuesday, May 26, to start a stretch of nine straight home games and 10 home dates in 11 days. The Marauders host the Daytona Tortugas (Cincinnati Reds) from May 26-May 29, the Jupiter Hammerheads (Miami Marlins) from May 30-June 1, the St. Lucie Mets (New York Mets) on June 2 and June 3, and the Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins) on June 5.
The game on Wednesday, June 27 will begin at 10:30 a.m. with games opening at 10:00 a.m. for Education Day. Sunday, May 31 will begin at 1:00 p.m. with gates opening at noon. All other games on the home stand will begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 26 is Halfway to Halloween. Fans of all ages are encouraged to dress up, and there will be trick-or-treating inside the ballpark for children.
The First Mates Kids Club takes over the ballpark on Tuesday nights. Kids 12 and under can join the club for $15 to receive a game ticket and meal voucher at every Tuesday home games, along with special experiences reserved for club members only during the season. Club members also receive a free ticket to the game on Sunday, June 28 with an invitation to a postgame ice cream social with the Marauders.
After Tuesday games there will be a Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic for all kids 12 and younger to circle the bases. The 2015 First Mates Kids Club also has a free membership option featuring select club benefits.
The 2015 Bark in the Park series presented by ABC 7 will continue on May 26. Bark badges will cost an additional $2 on the price of admission with the proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of Manatee County. There is one Bark in the Park date each month at McKechnie Field. Dogs are encouraged to come in costume to celebrate Halfway to Halloween as well.
Fans can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free ticket offer to each Tuesday home game. Chick-Fil-A presents 2-for-1 Tuesdays. Stop by the Chick-Fil-A at DeSoto Square Mall before each Tuesday home game to get a 2-for-1 ticket coupon.
Wednesday, May 27 is Education Day at McKechnie Field. Students from local schools will enjoy an educational day at the ballpark as the Marauders play their first home morning game of the season against the Tortugas at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, May 28 is a Thirsty Thursday presented by Budweiser and Ticket Sarasota gives fans a chance to fill up their cups without emptying out their wallets. Sodas and select draft beers will cost just $1. Join the Thirsty Thursday Club, your ticket to Thirsty Thursdays, for only $60 to receive a club t-shirt, a ticket to every Thursday game, special concessions discounts, and the opportunity to earn great rewards all season.
Each club member gets to start their Thursday night off right with one free 12 ounce beverage at each Thursday home game. Marauders season ticket holders can join the Thirsty Thursday Club for just $10.
Friday, May 29 is Island Night presented by LaPensee Plumbing and Pools. It’s a Free Shirt Friday, meaning the first 750 fans will receive an Island Night themed t-shirt. Come to each Friday home game at McKechnie Field and collect each of the unique Free Shirt Friday t-shirts.
Every Friday home game is also a Happy Hour Friday presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. Between 5:30 and 6:30 there will be great drink specials presented by Cheney Brothers.
Bright House Customer Appreciation Night is Saturday, May 30. Fans can present their Bright House Networks billing statements or mention their BHN community at the McKechnie Field ticket office to receive free outfield tickets. Upgrades to infield tickets are available for $2 while supplies last. Bright House Networks will provide a pre-game DJ and tons of great giveaway prizes. Post-game there will be spectacular fireworks presented by Bright House Networks.
Every Saturday is a Silverauders Club Saturday. The Silverauders Club for fans 60 and older is presented by Humana. For just $30, Silverauders Club members receive a ticket to every Saturday game, a food voucher for each Saturday game, a Silverauders T-Shirt, and other exclusive club benefits. Each Saturday game will also feature Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs and PLS Print.
New in 2015, the Marauders are offering female fans membership in the Lady Marauders Club. Membership is $50, and includes a ticket to each Saturday home game, invitations to participate in members only pregame events, happy hour specials at the ballpark, a club t-shirt, and more. Season ticket holders can join the Lady Marauders Club for just $10.
Sunday, May 31 is a Family Fun Sunday presented by Kayem. All tickets and regular size Kayem hot dogs cost just $1. Parking also costs just $1 per vehicle. After the game all fans 12 and younger can take part in the Kid’s Fun Run presented by Mosaic. The Marauders will also offer an inflatable water slide and splash zone seating for fans to cool off before and during the game.
May 31 will include a Latin Heritage Day Celebration in partnership with the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce. Food sampling from great local Latin American eateries is available with the purchase of a $2 wristband.
