BRADENTON — The Bradenton Marauders (Pittsburgh Pirates) return home to host the Lakeland Tigers (Detroit Tigers) in a four-game series that begins on Wednesday, July 15 and concludes on Saturday, July 18. All four games will begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.
July 15 is a Marauders Fan Appreciation Day Wednesday game. Marauders fans can enjoy 50 percent off online orders with Papa John’s using promotional code MARAUDERS50 all day.
July 16 is a Thirsty Thursday. All fans enjoy soda and select draft beers for only $1 throughout the evening. Interested fans can join the Thirsty Thursday Club presented by Budweiser and Ticket Sarasota, your ticket to Thirsty Thursdays!
The Thirsty Thursday club costs only $60 and includes tickets to all remaining Thursday home games, a club t-shirt, concessions deals every Thursday, and a free 12oz drink at each Thursday game. Members also receive prizes and an entry into a grand prize draw for every Thursday game they attend.
July 17 is McKechnie Field’s fifth annual Condiment Duel presented by Keeton’s Office & Art Supply! The evening will feature a variety of competitions between Ketchup and Mustard, and the victorious condiment will be crowned the winner at the end of the night.
July 17 is also a Free Shirt Friday! The first 750 fans to enter the park will have the choice between a ketchup-themed or mustard-themed Free t-shirt. The evening is also a Happy Hour Friday game, presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. From 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. fans in attendance can enjoy valuable drink specials presented by Cheney Brothers.
July 18 is Star Wars and Breast Cancer Awareness night at McKechnie Field. The evening will feature visits from popular Star Wars characters by the 501st Legion, a balloon pop booth with a wide variety of prizes from local businesses, and a silent auction for unique game-worn Star Wars jerseys. Fans will be able to bid until the sixth inning and winning bidders will take their jerseys off the player’s back after the game’s conclusion. All profits from the balloon pop and silent auction will be donated to the Center for Building Hope. The Center for Building Hope offers free information, programs, and services to cancer patients, caregivers, and family members, while offering them the opportunity to connect with others who are undergoing a similar experience.
Star Wars Night is also a Saturday game, which means that it is a Silverauders Club and a Lady Marauders Club night. The Silverauders Club is for fans 60 and older and is presented by Humana. For only $30, Silverauders Club members receive a ticket and food voucher to every Saturday game, a club t-shirt, and other exclusive benefits. Saturday games also feature Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs and PLS Print.
The Marauders are happy to have a brand new Lady Marauders Club this season. Membership is $50 and includes a ticket to each Saturday home game, invitations to participate in members only pregame events, happy hour specials at the ballpark, a club t-shirt and wine tumbler, and more. Season ticket holders can join the Lady Marauders Club for a mere $10. Saturday’s Lady Marauders Club exclusive event is a wine tasting from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. presented by Pier 22.
The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-gamedays Tuesday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On Monday-Friday gamedays the ticket office is open from 11:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the game. The ticket office opens two hours before Saturday, Sunday, and morning games.
