Public Charrette Planned for Riverwalk

The City of Bradenton is seeking input from the public on its features and amenities of the Riverwalk extension and park facilities.

The public is invited to a Design Charrette and Neighborhood Meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, at Marriage & Family Works, 1001 Manatee Avenue East.

Plans call for relocating Glazier Gates Park from Manatee Avenue East to a spot along Riverside Drive East along the Manatee River. There are plans to immediately recreate the park’s playground so the surrounding neighborhood is not without it for long.

There will be more details about this charrette as the meeting date nears.
