Roy Vander Klok age 92, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed into the arms of Jesus the evening of April 5, 2025. His loving wife marge of 72 years was at his side.
Roy was born May 18, 1932 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Roy and Anna Vander Klok and had two sisters Ruth and Louis.
Throughout Roy's career, which started at Hekman Biscuit in Michigan and ended in the Chicago area working for Waste Management, he was always active in church. His life reflected loving and serving Jesus. Even after retirement in Florida in 1994, him and his wife served our Lord in church and community, always willing to help others but also took time for fun like golf and kayaking well into his 80's.
Roy is survived by his wife Marge, Children Alan (Sheryl), Mary, Steve (Ann), sister Louis, eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in Michigan.
