BRADENTON--The SCF Manatees are playing their best basketball of the season with two consecutive Suncoast Conference wins in the past week. Head Coach Reggie Bellamy hopes that trend continues this afternoon when his squad takes on St. Petersburg College across the Skyway Bridge in a 4:00 p.m. tip-off.

SCF (8-9, 2-1) overcame an eleven point lead by Hillsborough CC on Wednesday night to defeat the Hawks 67-64 for the teamÔs second conference victory. Last Saturday’s last second three-pointer by Derek Robbins gave the Manatees their first conference win of the season.
The Manatees are tied with Polk State College for first place in the Suncoast Conference at 2-1. St. Petersburg College and Hillsborough CC are each 1-2 in conference play.
SCF will travel to Tampa on Wednesday night for a re-match with HCC before returning home to Hal Chasey Gym on Saturday February 5 against Polk College.
