School District Seeks 21st Century Grant to Support Students at Three Title I Elementary Schools

BRADENTON – The School District of Manatee County is excited to announce that it is applying for a new 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant to support students at Daughtrey, Manatee, and Palm View Elementary Schools. If awarded, this grant will provide after-school services for approximately 300 students including Homework Help, Reading, Math, and Science activities, Art and Music Education, and Physical Fitness and Recreation activities.

The School District is hopeful the grant application will be approved and services can begin at the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year.
