Schools and Education Manatee School District Offers Free Breakfast Next Week

BRADENTON -- All Manatee County public school students will be offered free breakfast during the week of Monday, March 19th through Friday, March 23rd, 2012 in acknowledgment of ”Manatee School Breakfast Week.“

The purpose of Manatee School Breakfast Week is to increase awareness of the importance of eating breakfast and the benefits of eating a school breakfast. The weeklong effort is being organized by the Manatee School District’s Food and Nutrition Services Department.

Parents and students can visit www.manateeschoolfood.net for menus. They can also visit individual school websites to learn the time breakfast is served, because the time varies from school to school.
