BRADENTON — Orange Ridge-Bullock Elementary School in Bradenton inducted 21 students into its National Elementary Honor Society chapter during a special ceremony this past Thursday, March 26.
Beginning at 6 p.m. in the school’s auditorium, special guests participating in the induction ceremony included Dr. Diana Greene, Deputy Superintendent for Instructional Services, and Junior League of Manatee County President Andrea Johnson.
Students at Orange Ridge-Bullock gain entry into the National Elementary Honor Society by achieving outstanding scholarship for the last two semesters and by demonstrating exceptional behavior.
The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is a school-based program recognizing outstanding elementary students in grades four through six and engaging them in the meaningful development of leadership skills and a personal understanding of the value of service.
